Frank Haeuser
Was born in
El Paso,
Texas in 1977. Four years later, family moved to the
Los Angeles area, and lived there for the next seven years. At an early age showed much interest in drawing and the natural world. Birds became the focus of interest during this time, and the sketching of these was only a natural byproduct of that interest. Family moved to
Lima,
Peru when Frank was eleven years old. The wildlife viewing opportunities there took Frank's observation skills to the next level. Spent many weekends bird watching with Father, and many afternoons watching Mother paint, and eventually was given the privilege of using her art supplies. Frank has been painting ever since. In 1996 graduated from high school and received art scholarship at
Bethany
College,
Mankato
MN. Studied both art and biology there and received Associates Degree. Transferred to
University of
Wisconsin Madison to study Zoology. Following year transferred to
University of
Wisconsin,
Milwaukee, and studied art and Biology. Received Bachelors Degree in Fine Art, with an emphasis in Drawing and painting in 2001. Has been working as a Dental Lab Ceramist since January of 2002, but has not given up on painting. Frank currently lives with his wife Sarah, and son Mateo in
Milwaukee,
WI. Will be exhibiting soon in the area.
